History of Mexico: Politics & Culture from the Conquest to the Present

This course addresses the history of Mexico in a monographical way, from the process of conquest in the 16th-century that established the New Spain to current politics of the present days. With approaches to significant events, representative figures and iconic documents, the course aims to provide elements to understand the historical reality of one of the most interesting and complex Latin American countries.
